Philadelphia Union's 11 wins and two draws mark MLS's best 13-game stretch

The Athletic reports the Philadelphia Union took seven points from 15 games before an 11-win, two-draw run it calls MLS's best 13-game stretch. It cites teenager Cavan Sullivan, an innovative formation, a captain's pre-World Cup chat with the interim coach and a young central defender as factors. The Athletic also says St Louis City tied another MLS record with a 20-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
