    TLDR

MLB says the Rays and Guardians play ALCS Game 3 in Cleveland at 1 p.m. ET on October 15, with coverage on TBS and HBO Max. A commentator says weather prompted the move to 1 p.m. and argues that a Thursday afternoon playoff game won't grow the sport. Another post credits Jose Ramirez's October surge with powering Cleveland's postseason run.

Phil Sanchez@PhilSanchezTVThe Guardians/Rays game has been moved to 1pm today because of weather. Think about that, an ALCS game will be played at 1 o’clock in the afternoon on a Thursday! That’s not growing the game! This doesn’t happen in any other sport and should not be happening in 2026. If MLB was truly serious about growing the game, it would install retractable roofs at every stadium in the league that don’t already have one.15m
