UCLA's 7-0 start hasn't filled the Rose Bowl
USA TODAY reports the student section has been particularly sparse despite UCLA offering free tickets to students.
TLDR
USA TODAY reports UCLA was 7-0 for the first time since 2005, yet its Rose Bowl games had drawn an average of 33,172 fans. Coach Bob Chesney said the student section was slow to fill and seemed to empty early during the win over Michigan State. The stadium is roughly a 30- to 50-minute drive from campus.
