Brady Tkachuk completed his second straight hat trick in dramatic fashion, scoring the winning goal in overtime. The NHL confirmed both the hat trick and the overtime winner, with Sportsnet also reporting the same finish.
The Athletic reported that Tkachuk became the first player with back-to-back natural hat tricks since Petri Skriko did it for the Canucks in November 1986. The Hockey News added that Tkachuk had eight points over his last three games after going scoreless in his first five.
