NHL unveils Hometown Remix jerseys for all 32 teams as Fanatics takes league-wide design role

Carolina’s jersey puts “Struttin’ Stormy” on the main crest, according to Walt Ruff’s account for Hurricanes.com. Hurricanes chief marketing officer Matt Sutor says the collegiate-inspired mark connects to the region’s college roots. He says leaves in the red sleeve stripes refer to Raleigh’s “City of Oaks” nickname, while the hem includes the skyline and the words “City of Oaks.”

For Vegas, Stephanie Overton of KLAS reports a design inspired by a roulette wheel, with red and black details and green and gold piping. A jersey release quoted by KLAS describes a casino-felt-inspired shoulder yoke and a roulette pattern on the sleeves.

The teams have different plans for wearing them: the Hurricanes say they will wear their jersey 11 times, starting the Saturday after the unveiling, while KLAS lists five dates for Vegas, beginning Nov. 15. NHL executive Brian Jennings told CNBC the program is set for 2026-27, though the league and Fanatics would be open to teams using some of its design elements in future jerseys or products.
