Their lawsuit alleged that the NCAA's new “five to play five” rules unfairly excluded athletes who began their careers in 2022. The judge found the plaintiffs remained within their five-year eligibility window. CBS Sports identifies Iowa State's Tamin Lipsey, Miami's Malik Reneau and Kansas' Tre White among those covered and says the NCAA is expected to appeal. Cyclone Fanatic says the NCAA will likely also seek a stay to temporarily halt the injunction; if granted, Lipsey's eligibility could change.
