Todd Monken defends Browns after Mike Tomlin’s NBC criticism

MySportsUpdate reports that Browns head coach Todd Monken challenged Mike Tomlin’s “Browns is the Browns” comment on NBC. “Everybody’s afforded their opinions. That’s what you do when you go from coaching to television,” Monken said. He drew a distinction between a bad performance and the team’s identity: “That’s not Browns being Browns; that’s Browns playing poorly for one week.”
