Arsenal beat Slavia Praha 2-1 as Madueke and Gyökeres score

Arsenal beat Slavia Praha 2-1 away in the Champions League on Nov. 4. Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyökeres scored Arsenal’s goals, and the win moved the club to third in the league phase that night, the Premier League posted.

Madueke put Arsenal 1-0 ahead inside 10 minutes, The Athletic reported. Gyökeres had a goal and an assist in the first half, according to Bleacher Report, which put him at five combined goals and assists across his last five Arsenal games.

The Athletic described Arsenal as comfortable for much of the first half, but reported that their performance dropped after the break. Slavia threatened and scored with minutes left. Arsenal held on, reaching 10 points from four Champions League games.
