TLDR

F1's lap-two update of the 62-lap Singapore Grand Prix lists Verstappen, Leclerc, Hamilton, Antonelli and Norris as the top five, in that order. Chris Medland later reports Verstappen's lead over Leclerc grew to 4.8 seconds, with Hamilton 1.7 seconds behind Leclerc and the Ferraris pulling away from Antonelli. He says Hamilton pitted after struggling on medium tyres, switched to softs and rejoined behind Lawson but ahead of Hulkenberg, then complained about losing time behind teammate Leclerc.

Formula 1’s lap-two update listed Verstappen, Leclerc, Hamilton, Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris as the top five. Leclerc stayed close in the opening phase, and F1 said he was pressuring Verstappen again on lap 10.

The front six began to separate from the rest of the field. Medland reported that Verstappen stretched his advantage over Leclerc to 2.6 seconds, with Hamilton just over six seconds from the lead and Antonelli, Norris and Oscar Piastri close behind.

Hamilton was the only driver in the top seven who started on medium tyres, according to F1’s lap-13 update. He later pitted while struggling on that compound, switched to softs and rejoined behind Liam Lawson but ahead of Nico Hulkenberg, Medland reported. After the stops, Hamilton complained about losing time while running behind Ferrari teammate Leclerc.
