The CW eyes more College Football Playoff games and TNT Sports rights
The CW is pitching its reach into roughly 100 million U.S. homes to leagues as rights become available.
TLDR
CW sports executive Michael Perman says the network is looking at TNT Sports’ NHL rights, which expire after the 2027–28 season, and French Open rights, which run through 2034. The CW is also open to more College Football Playoff games if the field expands to 24 teams, potentially through its existing relationship with ESPN.
