@Psalmist_FCB🚨🚨 KEITH HACKETT HAS DELIVERED A BRUTAL VERDICT ON THE REFEREE FOLLOWING ARSENAL’S CONTROVERSIAL WIN OVER LIVERPOOL! Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has reportedly questioned the standard of officiating after Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, with the controversial incident involving William Saliba, Hugo Ekitike and the penalty appeals attracting serious attention. “I'm sorry, but you cannot keep making decisions like this and expect people to have confidence in Premier League officiating. There are clear questions that need answering about what the referee and VAR actually saw.” The biggest concern is not simply that a decision went against Liverpool. It is the apparent lack of consistency in how these incidents are assessed. We have VAR, multiple camera angles, replays and a team of officials watching every detail, yet supporters are still left questioning how certain decisions are reached. At this level, there is absolutely no excuse for confusion over fundamental refereeing decisions. If an incident deserves a closer look, VAR must take responsibility and ensure the referee is given the opportunity to review it. Liverpool supporters have every right to demand an explanation. Arsenal supporters will obviously defend the result, but that does not mean every controversial decision should escape scrutiny. The Premier League cannot continue hiding behind vague explanations every time VAR becomes the centre of attention. This is about consistency, accountability and the integrity of the competition. PGMOL must explain what happened, why the decisions were reached and whether the correct protocols were followed. HOW MANY MORE CONTROVERSIES BEFORE THE PREMIER LEAGUE FINALLY ADDRESSES ITS REFEREEING PROBLEM? The conversation is bigger than Arsenal versus Liverpool. It is about the standard of officiating in English football. #LIVARS #Arsenal #Liverpool #PremierLeague #VAR #PGMOL #EPL
@FabrizioRomano🚨 Andoni Iraola on the penalty: “Next time, the managers should tell the players to go to the floor… otherwise they won't call it”. “The fact that you are even asking me if Isak should go to the floor… if he goes to the floor, they call the penalty 100%. It should be like this but it is what it is”.@Psalmist_FCB🚨🚨 KEITH HACKETT HAS DELIVERED A BRUTAL VERDICT ON THE REFEREE FOLLOWING ARSENAL’S CONTROVERSIAL WIN OVER LIVERPOOL!
