FIA and AWS partner to bring AI into future F1 aerodynamic rules

The Race reports the FIA plans to use AWS tools for faster aerodynamic simulations as it develops future F1 rules. AI could predict results from past simulations, letting engineers test more variations, but generative AI won't propose designs yet. The Athletic says the FIA hopes the partnership could cut car-design simulations from months to hours and speed track-limit and penalty decisions. The Race says humans would still make track-limit judgments.
