Ravens downgrade Lamar Jackson to out for Oct. 25 game against Cincinnati

The Baltimore Ravens downgraded quarterback Lamar Jackson to out for their Oct. 25 game against Cincinnati. In its Oct. 24 update, the team listed an ankle issue but did not give a more specific diagnosis or name a replacement.

Jonas Shaffer reported that Jackson was dealing with a high-ankle sprain and had not played since Oct. 4. Sam Cohn wrote that Snoop Huntley would be at quarterback. Cohn also quoted Jackson as saying the previous day, “It won't do any justice for me to be on the field [hurt], because then I'm going to be limited. I won't be helping my team whatsoever.”
