Welcome aboard.
If you're reading this, you're either a full-on geek or a curious techie. This is still a relatively niche topic that most consumers are not being exposed to. You know that you have powerful computing power in your pocket, and you go beyond the smartphone's small screen to enhance your daily work or activities.
For those who are unfamiliar with this community, it's all about leveraging desktop computing from your smartphone. Modern smartphone chipsets, even for mid-range smartphones, can be on par with their equivalent x86 CPUs in mid-range Windows or Chromebook laptops. So why buy multiple standalone computers when the one in your pocket right now can be the only computer you need?
This community is open to all mobile OS that unlock desktop convergence. It doesn't matter whether it's Android (i.e., Samsung DeX, Huawei EMUI Desktop, Honor Magic Desktop, Motorola Smart Connect, LG Screen+), GNU Linux (i.e, Ubuntu Touch, postmarketOS, Manjaro Phosh), or even Windows on ARM; everyone's welcome here. Don't be shy to go nuts with your idea or setup - it could be an inspiration to another person.
