This policy aims to protect immigrant communities and follows similar actions taken by Santa Clara County and Chicago. Signs will be posted at all locations, and city employees will be required to report any ICE activity to their supervisors. The policy does not affect properties already in use by federal agencies or impede lawful federal duties.
