Starship reportedly made its first orbital flight and deployed 26 Starlink satellites

A user says Starship Flight 14 reached orbit for the first time on September 28, 2026, and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites. According to the post, one booster engine shut down during ascent, but the booster made a controlled splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico. Controllers shortened the mission, and the ship splashed down in the northern Pacific after about three hours.
