Firefly’s Elytra orbiter is being assembled for a lunar far-side mission

Firefly Space says its Elytra orbiter is being assembled in a cleanroom for Riders 2 the Dark, which it describes as America’s first mission to land on the Moon’s far side. The company plans to use Elytra as a transfer vehicle and communications bridge between Blue Ghost and Earth, since the far side has no direct line of sight to Earth.
