Thwaites Glacier Melting Faster Than Expected, Could Contribute Double Previous Sea-Level Rise Estimates

CNN reports new research suggests Thwaites could contribute twice as much to global sea-level rise as currently projected. A post linking to CNN's report says the glacier is melting twice as fast as scientists believed and is expected to eventually raise sea levels by two feet on its own. The post says it could also unleash other melting that could bring the rise to 10 feet.
