AlphaProtein Novo reportedly open-sourced to design enzymes for new-to-nature reactions

A user says Google DeepMind open-sourced AlphaProtein Novo, an AI pipeline for designing enzymes to perform reactions not found in nature. The post describes one enzyme designed to synthesize piperidines, building blocks used in pharmaceuticals and materials, and another designed to break down DEHP. The user claims the DEHP-targeting enzyme was 14-fold more active at 90°C than at room temperature.
