Boeing's uncrewed Starliner-1 mission is planned for December 2026–January 2027

Boeing plans to fly Starliner-1 without a crew in the December 2026–January 2027 timeframe. It says the hardware work and added certification resources are intended to support future crewed missions. Spaceflight Now relays Weigel's account that certification of redesigned thrusters would create a roughly 1.5-year gap between Starliner-1 and Starliner-2; Weigel also said the poppet redesign would proceed alongside work toward the uncrewed flight.
