Microsoft says its MAI Diagnostic system was 1.7 times as accurate as physicians in the ED, even with web access, while requiring fewer tests at lower cost. Another post says the study appeared in Science on October 22 and describes an AI doctor panel that asked questions and ordered tests step by step.
