AI-guided cobra venom search reportedly identifies an antimicrobial peptide

News-Medical reports that researchers combined toxin sequence mining with machine learning and deep-learning prediction tools to identify and experimentally test 14 antimicrobial peptide candidates derived from cobra cardiotoxins.
