SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 8:54 p.m. PDT on October 7, successfully deploying 28 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit as part of the Starlink 11-17 mission. The first-stage booster B1071 completed its 29th flight and landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, achieving SpaceX’s 516th booster recovery and extending a 175-mission landing streak. This marked the company’s 127th Falcon 9 flight of 2025, bringing the operational Starlink constellation to over 7,000 satellites.
