Blue Origin completes risk-reduction tests for NASA's VIPER lunar rover offloader

Blue Origin says it and NASA completed a risk-reduction test campaign using a VIPER Mobility Ground Research Unit. Its flight-like offloader ran complete nominal and off-nominal sequences across the full range of lander tilt angles, with NASA commanding the rover remotely. Blue Origin said on October 9, 2026, that the flight offloader was being fabricated.
