NSF backs KBR’s selection for $8 billion Antarctic contract despite watchdog and researcher concerns

Science reports that the National Science Foundation is standing by its choice of KBR as a new Antarctic contractor despite concerns from the Government Accountability Office and researchers. The agency says it has “resolved” questions about KBR winning the $8 billion contract.
