Neuralink's Blindsight reportedly engineering-ready, awaiting regulatory approval

Elon Musk described Blindsight as Neuralink's second product in an Oct. 30, 2026, post, calling it engineering-ready but still awaiting regulatory approval. He claimed it would enable people who are completely blind, including those who have never seen, to see, but his post offered no demonstration of that ability or approval timetable. He identified Telepathy as Neuralink's first product.
