What are you taking post-run? Let's talk supplements
Alright, let's get into it - what's everyone's supplement game looking like after a run?
I see so many different opinions online and honestly it's overwhelming. Some people are out here with a full pharmacy, others just chug water and call it good.
Currently I'm doing:
Protein shake within 30 mins
Electrolytes if it was a long/hot run
Sometimes BCAAs but not sure if they're even worth it?
But I keep seeing people talk about:
Magnesium for muscle recovery
Collagen for joints
Omega-3s for inflammation
Creatine (but isn't that more for strength training?)
Vitamin D
Iron supplements
What's actually making a difference for you? What's just marketing BS?
And be honest - are you actually consistent with it or is it more like "I'll remember when I remember" situation?
