The almost ideal retro AV setup

Picked up an older analog Dell sound bar, I fully expected to have to hack it onto the monitor. Turned it over and guess what? The Dell FP’s have exactly the setup that it clicks into. C64 into a $14 AV to VGA adapter, it then has VGA and an 1/8” audio out. Nice standalone video

Bull PC rescued from an e-waste bin

I rescued this PC from a e-waste bin at a former workplace about five years ago. It's built like a tank with very thick steel casing. The tree logo appears to be the same logo as Zenith Data Systems and indeed the French company Groupe Bull acquired them in 1989. The PC was manuf
