House prices across the US have soared in 2022, and the changing state of the housing market can be seen more clearly by comparing the change in average home costs, year-over-year.
Reddit user Oapish used figures from Zillow and Bright Data (where data was available) to map how average US house prices changed, by county, between July 2021 and July 2022.

Of all the states, the most drastic increase in average home prices can be seen in Florida, where the cost of a house has increased by at least 28 percent in most counties.
