Open world PS5 game Project Windless is part-God of War, part-Dynasty Warriors, and has a veteran Far Cry director as its lead

Krafton has unveiled open-world fantasy adventure Project Windless for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, based on the acclaimed South Korean high fantasy novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears. The game, led by veteran Far Cry director Patrik Méthé, is set 1,500 years before the events of the books and focuses on the Rekon, a bird-like race. Project Windless promises an open world with minimal hand-holding, encouraging risk-taking and alliance-building, and features combat reminiscent of Dynasty Warriors, allowing players to battle dozens to hundreds of enemies at once.
