Someone shared one question that changed their life. Thinking of giving it a try.
I just came across this and had to share it with you all.
Someone said they started asking themselves one question every morning:
"What would today look like if I wasn't running on autopilot?"
No app, no complicated system, just that one sentence before checking my phone.
At first nothing changed for them. But slowly, they caught themselves reaching for distractions less. They noticed how often they were just going through the motions (emails, meetings, scrolling, reacting.) They started choosing more and drifting less.
The part that hit me hardest: they realized most of their stress wasn't from having too much to do. It was from doing things that didn't matter, on repeat.
I'm thinking of giving this a try starting tomorrow morning. Something about it feels different from the usual productivity advice.
Has anyone else tried something like this? Or do you have a single question or mental shift that's actually made a difference for you?
