Trump’s failings will hurt conservatives

In a recent podcast, New York Times columnist Ross Douthat warned that President Donald Trump has lost the country and that it is the right who will suffer the most from Trump’s failed leadership. He argued that the majority of voters believe the country is worse off today than it was a year ago, with Trump’s approval rating at 37 percent, the lowest of his second term. Douthat noted that it isn’t moderates and swing voters who lose out when the Trump administration becomes unpopular, but rather people on the right who support the Trump administration’s agenda.
