Stoat, before Revolt, an alternative to Discord
Today Discord confirmed that is going to require ID to all its users worldwide, with Face ID scan and/or several other methods, to allow them to use its accounts configured for "adult" content. As face ID and other kind of methods providing real ID is a "no go" for many people (especially after knowing that they suffered quite a big hack with user information leak months ago, there is many people looking for alternatives at this time. One of them can be Stoat (befor Revolt), open source and still in development. At the moment is available for the three main computer OS (Linux one of them), and with apps for mobile phones and tablets (still in development and in trial phase).
Do you know any other open source alternative to Discord? Do you use Stoat?

After four years of building Revolt, the platform has rebranded to Stoat to better reflect its mission and community. The change includes a new name, domain, and visual identity, but users can expect the same level of service and community engagement. The rebrand signifies a commitment to faster feature releases, better creator tools, operational independence, privacy, and accessibility. The core team remains unchanged, and users are encouraged to share the news with their communities.
