💃 If She is All-Knowing, All-Powerful, and All-Loving, why would She allow evil to exist!? Why is She a naughty gal? 💃

There was a post in this community about “God”, and how “God” cannot exist; because it would be incoherent for “God” to exist if evil is allowed to exist, because an all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful “God” would not allow evil to exist.

Now, being someone who is familiar (but in no way an expert) with Neoplatonism, and the Abrahamic Traditions; I believe I may be in a position to give my two cents about the matter! I will first define what is meant by “God”; and then I will answer why it is a reasonable position to be of perspective that “God” can be all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful, and still allow evil to exist.

My “religion” is “Be as one realizes to be rational.”  I am not here to promote any of the Abrahamic Traditions. If anything, I am here to let you cool cats, and naughty kittens know that I intend on creating a community that is Neoplatonism related. And I know that some of you kitties are of one of the Abrahamic faiths, and that your respective tradition’s intellectuality has been Neoplatonism! So you may have interest in the community I intend on creating, and may be interested in joining it. So, I make this post for y’all. I hope the mania I have to offer tickles your “balls”, and will be of some spiritual benefit.

With that said, let’s get the party started!

I am going to be working with an Avicennan concept of what “God” is. “God” is understood as The Necessary Being. As much as “God” is understood as the Necessary Being; “God” is actually understood as The One & Intellect. Okay, so “God” is that existence that is, was, and always will be. “God” is that existence that transcends all existence, that is existence, and that all existence is within. Thus, “God” is Transcendent & Immanent. “God” is the reality that ideates what makes up existence, and then gives being (existence) to our universe. “God” is the reason our universe is the way it is; allowing certain things to exist, and allowing the certain things that exist to exist the way it does.

Now, “God” exists because “God” cannot help but exist. “God” does not have a choice to not exist. Nothing cannot exist. It’s impossible. “God” is the sole actual reality there is. Now, “God” “loves” Herself so damn much; because frankly there is nothing else to love but Herself. This love results in “God” emanating existence. “God” creates existence thinking of Herself. “God” is The Intellect, and “God” thinks about Her own essence (The One), and with reference to Herself ideates & emanates existence. Why you ask? Because “God” being the only cool dudette in town is total & complete. Being total & complete is also infinite. Being infinite necessarily has to have within Herself all that can be. And thus, that’s why our Dudette does what she does. She’s creative like that. She thinks about Herself! Thinking about Herself she creates, and emanates existence.

Getting what is meant by “God” out of the way. Let’s ask: “why would The god, the one true god, create evil, and, or allow evil to exist? If She does such a thing then surely she is NOT all powerful, knowing, and, loving!” And to that it will be answered: “No!”

You see, “God” is necessarily all knowing, all powerful, and all loving because there is no existence (no actuality) but “God”; and thus all is consumed by “God”. “God” is necessarily transcendent & immanent. Thus, necessarily all knowledge, power, and love is not only “God”, but is via “God”. Everything that exists participates & communicates something of “God” or else it would not exist. Everywhere on looks is the “Face of God”.

“But, then how can evil be allowed to exist?” you may ask me, in a melodious voice!

Evil is allowed to exist because existence is not “God”. Creation is not “God”. Only “God” is “God”. What that means is that only The Actual/The Real is Good. Only The Actual/The Real is not evil. Thus, only “God” is good. And all goodness & beauty that exists exists only because it participates & communicates something of “God”.

There is no goody good two shoes other than the Dudette we’re talking about.

“God” is good. “Good” is great. Blah. Blah. Blah. You get the gist. To this you may reply:

“Wait. So, ‘God’ created evil! And still, even if you claim ‘God’ did not create evil why on earth does this ‘Good’ god allow such a thing to exist!? The very fact that this god you speak of allows evil to exist makes this god you speak of an evil one!”

Woah! That’s a good question! I’m so glad I’m able to articulate it for you! So, here’s the deal: “God” indirectly created evil. But pure evil cannot exist. Because the actual/real (pure existence) is alone Good, and is alone “God”. Nothing cannot exist. Only “God” actually exists. Thus, pure evil cannot exist! But evil has to exist because total & complete existence demands the infinite to exist. So, we exist as an actualization of infinite possible existence.

This is too long. I better sum up! So, by now we should understand via the aforementioned perspective why “evil” exists. And why “God” is not evil for allowing evil to exist. And why “God” is necessarily all knowing, all powerful, and all loving; and why necessarily one is only able to escape evil by being “godly” (by participating & communicating something of the real/actual).

Where is “God’s” Mercy? “God’s” Mercy is in the fact that everything will eventually return to Her; pure evil can't exist; and also in the fact that there are many paths provided to endure, and escape the evil that is. There is “escape” from “suffering” via “God’s” Mercy. The perennial escape via “God’s” Mercy is that one love oneself, and love “God” with all one’s heart, soul, strength, and might; and that one treat the other as one would oneself. There is no greater religion than that. So far as a religion exists, and actualizes the aforementioned via its respective language, “God’s Mercy” has been provided to human beings as such.

I want to create a place where Neoplatonists will feel at home, and where all those who are not Neoplatonists are welcome to stay & engage in intellectual discourse, and also where intellectual discourse may be had about all matters being.
