A new comet was just discovered. Will it be visible in broad daylight?
A newly discovered comet, C/2026 A1 (MAPS), has astronomers excited, with the potential to be a spectacular sight in early April. Discovered by a team of amateur astronomers, it belongs to the Kreutz sungrazing comets, known for producing some of the brightest and most spectacular comets. If it survives its close approach to the Sun, it could become visible in broad daylight and dazzle the evening sky.
