$1 billion gets a permanent seat on Trump’s Board of Peace for Gaza, as India and others invited
President Donald Trump has created the Board of Peace, a new body of world leaders meant to oversee next steps in Gaza. A $1 billion contribution secures permanent membership on the board, while a three-year appointment requires no contribution. India, Jordan, Australia, Greece, Cyprus, and Pakistan have received invitations, and Hungary and Vietnam have accepted. The official member list is expected in the coming days.
