Security Alert: 8 Delhi Schools Receive Bomb Threats After Gurgaon
On Thursday morning, eight well-known private schools in Delhi received bomb threats. As a result, the campuses had to be evacuated immediately, and security forces, including the Delhi Police, conducted searches. This occurs one day after similar threats were received by the Dwarka court in Delhi and eight schools in Gurgaon; these threats were eventually deemed to be a hoax.
Between 8.15 and 9.30 in the morning, threats were sent to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya (SPV), Loreto School in Delhi Cantonment, two branches of Mount Carmel School in Dwarka Sector 23 and Anand Niketan, Don Bosco School in CR Park, Air Force Bal Bharati School on Lodhi Road, Birla Vidya Niketan, and Amity School. Bomb Disposal Squads, Bomb Disposal Teams, and Delhi Fire Services tenders were all hurried to the scene, according to officials. The Delhi Police declared the bomb threat to be a hoax, according to an SPV statement. The school got a security threat this morning.
The bomb squad thoroughly inspected the entire campus as a precaution, and the authorities were notified right away. We are happy to notify you that the property has been deemed totally safe to use. Today's classes will go on as normal. The threat at Mount Carmel in Dwarka has also been deemed a hoax, according to police.
A police official stated, "Cyber crime teams are tracking the source of the emails; no suspicious items have been found in most of the schools." On Wednesday morning, bomb threats were sent to at least eight private schools in Gurgaon. According to sources, SDRF teams were sent to conduct searches at several schools, including Pathways World School in Badshahpur, Lancers International School in Sector 53, Kunskapsskolan in DLF Phase 1, and Heritage Xperiential Learning School in Sector 64. These instances coincide with a pattern of similar hoax threats that have been documented over the previous three years in various regions of the NCR.
On Thursday morning, eight prominent private schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails, leading to the immediate evacuation of students and staff. Security agencies, including the Delhi Police, bomb squads, and fire services, were dispatched to the campuses to conduct thorough checks. No suspicious items were found, and all threats were confirmed to be hoaxes. This incident follows similar bomb threats reported at the Dwarka court in Delhi and eight schools in Gurgaon, which were also found to be fake after security checks. Authorities are tracing the source of the threat emails, noting that such incidents are part of a recurring pattern of hoax bomb threats reported across the National Capital Region (NCR) over the past three years.
