Complete DS Kit
I really wanted to have a consistent, relatively inexpensive, and complete way to haul any of my DS Consoles around with me. To that end I decided to find the parts listed in the Pastebin link. I've put three of these cases together IRL so far and have had zero issues with damage, heft, etc.
What you'll find is the following:
Note
The specific links inside the Pastebin link would get you a kit for a 3DS. The only thing you'd need to swap out would be the charging cable from Xahpower for the cable for your specific DS Model.
Case
The Smatree Carrying Case is great because it fits anything from the DS thru the N3DS XL. That's including the DS itself, some games, and the following items.
Charging Cable
The charging cables from Xahpower seem to work pretty well, are small and compact when wound up, and are fairly cheap.
Charging Brick
The Iniu Charging Bricks are pretty good quality and the most important thing is they're thin enough to fit into the kit while putting minimal pressure on the DS itself.
Extras
Not in the Pastebin link are things like an extra stylus, game cartridge cases, etc. These things can easily be added, but this is just to get you started.
Price
The case, charging cables, and charging bricks can be had on Amazon at the time of writing this for $39.26 USD. That is pretty cheap to begin with, but that actually gets you a case, two charging cables, two power bricks, and two extra USB C cables that you can use with other devices. If you factor this in, you can actually create each complete kit for $28.13 USD by taking the cost from above, adding a second case to it, then dividing by 2.
