Anyone having issues with longevity of new batteries?

Last fall I got a new, replacement battery for my N3DS XL. Nothing wrong with the old battery, though it was the one that came with the system when I got it around 11 years ago, and I felt like it wasn't lasting as long as it used to.

The new battery's longevity was absolutely awful compared to the old one. It would drain to two bars in less than a day, whereas the old battery can go two or three days until you see a bar disappear. I ended up switching back to the old battery.

Did I get a bad battery or do the batteries that came stock with the system just last longer than ones on the market today?
