Carlos finally inducted into the Baseball HOF.
Carlos Beltrán, the graceful and powerful center fielder who played for the Royals, Mets, and various other clubs for two decades, has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Beltrán, who appeared on 84.2 percent of Baseball Writers’ Association of America ballots, surpassed the 75 percent threshold needed for entry in his fourth year on the ballot. He will be inducted alongside Jeff Kent and Andruw Jones.
It’s about time.
