1. Maps Only (Even the Bad Ones)
Post maps, map memes, or map-related satire. If it doesn't involve cartography, geography, or borders drawn by someone who clearly failed geography class, it doesn't belong here.
2. Satire Is the Point
This is a parody community. Exaggerate. Be absurd. Mock terrible takes. If you're posting a serious, beautiful map, you're in the wrong place. Go to /mapporn
for that.
3. No Real Hate, Just Map Hate
Roast projections, mock borders, criticize cartographic choices. But don't use maps as an excuse for racism, bigotry, or actual geopolitical hatred. We're here to laugh at maps, not people.
4. Credit Your Crimes
If you didn't make the cursed map you're posting, say where you found it. Give credit (or blame) where it's due.
5. Keep It Light
This is satire, not a war zone. Disagree about Mercator vs. Peters all you want, but keep it fun. No flame wars over which projection ruined cartography.
