Questions about audio from a beginner
Hello all!
I recently installed Ubuntu again (for the first time in a decade) and am loving the lack of bloat like some OS....
Anyways. One thing I do miss from windows is all the audio options. I felt like the menu was fleshed out but easy, and I had so many options from Dolby Atmos to that strange menu with 1000 different options that just all look like "studio quality 1000 KHZ" or whatever.
What options are there to restore some of these features in Linux? I know stuff like Atmos relies on Dolby support but what about deeper customization?
I'm trying to troubleshoot and issue with Arc Raiders at the moment because it won't pick up my surround sound but I've already dug through the only 2 audio menus that even seem to exist at the OS level.
Any help is appreciated!
