Istanbul-based lawyer and photographer Alper Yesiltas used AI to imagine what celebrities and famous figures like Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Paul Walker, Amy Winehouse and others would like had they been alive and aging.

When I started tinkering with technology, I saw what I could do and thought about what would make me the happiest. I wanted to see some of the people I missed again in front of me and that's how this project emerged.

I am using various software programs. The time it takes for me to create one fully finished image varies, but I would say it takes a while for an image to feel "real" to me.

Wow, love how they took my content and ran with it as their idea. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRaCFxrD/

      Erika invented the internet.

    2. By "your content," do you mean one or more of the photos in the article was your own work? Because I didn't see any of the photos in this article at the TikTok link you included. Or do you just mean you had a similar idea of how to use AI/machine learning--that you could artificially age photos of iconic celebrities who died young? If it's the latter (and I strongly suspect it is), then you need to be careful about accusing people of stealing "content" when referring to a mere trope. For example, this YouTube video illustrating what Marilyn Monroe would look like today pre-dates your TikTok by more than three years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1sBewCoJVw (As far as using AI instead of Photoshop, that's an equally common response to evolving technology, which is why copyright doesn't protect either ideas or methods.)

This is one of the best comments I have seen on here. Well said!
