Has anyone else noticed their skin looks way better since starting HBOT?
I'm a few weeks into my journey, and... while I originally started doing sessions for my energy levels, I’ve noticed a really strange (but awesome) change in my skin. My "morning face" looks less puffy, and some old scars actually seem to be fading faster than usual.
I did a little digging into the science of it, and it turns out that the extra oxygen can actually trigger collagen production and help with cell turnover. It makes sense—if the pressure is helping deep tissues heal, the skin is going to reap the benefits too.
For those of you who have been doing this long-term, did you notice any "aesthetic" perks like better skin elasticity or faster healing of blemishes? Or am I just imagining the "hyperbaric glow"?
I found a really cool article that explains exactly how oxygen therapy impacts skin health and why it's becoming a thing in the beauty/longevity world. I’m sharing it here for anyone else who wants to know why they’re suddenly looking more refreshed.
This article discusses how hyperbaric chambers can help with skin health by increasing oxygen delivery to skin cells, supporting collagen production, and improving natural healing. It explains how hyperbaric oxygen therapy works, its benefits for skin repair, and how it compares to surface treatments.
