Can anyone ID this gun?

Spotted in an episode of the old Canadian sci-fi series "Continuum". ChatGPT says "You’re almost certainly looking at an EAA Titan / Tanfoglio Witness large-frame, dressed up a bit for TV." but I don't see the resemblance really. Any ideas?
