Halloween: The Game Chooses Film Authenticity Over PS5 Japan Release

Halloween: The Game will release on schedule September 9 in Japan on Xbox and PC. The official account stated the PlayStation rating application was cancelled after developers could not obtain approval from CERO. Multiple posts attribute the outcome to the game's violence and nudity. Japanese PS5 owners expressed disappointment in replies, while others suggested they seek the title on alternate platforms. The developers confirmed transparency about the change shortly before the planned launch.
