Millennials Recall Biting Batteries for Kiss FM Countdowns

Posts describe using scan-reset FM radios where earphones failed quickly. One user detailed biting batteries repeatedly to draw the last charge during evening preparations for Homeboyz Radio or Kiss FM's 7pm countdown hosted by Shaffie and Kalyeke. Other users mentioned owning iPods, walkmans and diskmans, listening only to radio at one life stage, and pushing local stations to play Kenyan music. The posts contrast these habits with later access to Apple Music and Spotify accounts.
