Hamaguchi is quoted calling FF7 Revelation a challenge for Final Fantasy’s future

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is more than the FFVII Remake trilogy’s conclusion, Naoki Hamaguchi says in remarks shared by a user. He says he wanted to push perceptions of FF7 and the wider series, aiming for recognition as both a JRPG and a “world-class open-world action-adventure RPG.” He calls it “a challenge toward the future of Final Fantasy.”
