Witcher Remake Put On Hold By Fool's Theory

Fool's Theory has halted active development on the Witcher remake. CD Projekt Red stated the studio must finish the Songs of the Past expansion for The Witcher 3 first. VGC reported the hold stems directly from that requirement. A separate GameSpot report instead links the pause to prioritization of The Witcher 4. Both accounts cite the same developer statements but differ on the next focus. No further timeline appears in the posts or linked articles.
