Ghost of Yotei’s estimated $407M revenue trails Ghost of Tsushima’s $418M at comparable points after launch

Alinea's Rhys Elliott attributes that split partly to pricing. Yotei launched at $70 and has received two discounts, while Tsushima launched at $60 and was discounted to $45 within three months. Elliott calculates that Yotei has generated about 26% more revenue per buyer.

The comparison also covers different console markets. Elliott said there were roughly 117 million PS4s and 10 million PS5s in circulation at the comparable point in Tsushima's lifecycle, versus nearly 100 million PS5s for Yotei, which is only available on PS5. Alinea estimates Yotei sold 1.8 million copies and generated $121 million this year, though Elliott said its revenue curve is beginning to flatten more than Tsushima's did.
